Input Jack
Can someone link me to an input jack I could use if I wanted to install one in place of a tone knob on a guitar? Specifically speaking, the '72 Tele Deluxe?

dude i'm really not sure what your talking about. you want to put your input where one of your tone knobs is? and input should work but you might want to get one of those slanted ones unless your guitar is deep enough

Yeah, instead of having a tone knob, I'll have an input jack instead.Rick. wrote:dude i'm really not sure what your talking about. you want to put your input where one of your tone knobs is? and input should work but you might want to get one of those slanted ones unless your guitar is deep enough
I've been told that I can take the side input jack from the Tele and use that, but I don't really want to take that one out. So I'm searching for input jacks to use. The problem is, there's different kinds and I don't know which one to use... Mono, stereo, the proper length... etc.

get a stereo one. and yeah it would be easier if you used your other jack because you wouldnt have to rewire it. well i guess your gonna need to do a bit of wiring either way
