'Singer Avril Lavigne revealed her husband, musician Deryck Whibley, is spending the holidays writing songs while he’s recuperating at home.

“He’s been writing songs a little bit right now at the house because he hurt his back so he has to stay at home,” Avril told OK! after performing on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars results show last night.

“He had to cancel his tour. I’ll walk in the room and be like, ‘I think you should do this’ and then walk out,” she added, “That’s kind of the cool thing about doing the same thing. We can always give advice and be there for each other.”'

first of all, that's a hell of a pic in my mind , Phili XD

and i think its great he's writing new songs. only shows so much hope for a follow-up to UH, and unlike many believe that they will disband.
its cool though that the writing process started already since Deryck has free time now, and i hope the next album will be sonner than we expect :D
