Sum 41 France will have their review up by next week.

Originally, they stated it would be out this week but somehow they changed their minds. Maybe they're not allowed to post it yet.

Embargo dates seem to be late for Hopeless Records. Yellowcard record is out on friday and I think the embargo is on the release date if I'm not wrong... Might be same with 13 Voices, so we'll hear it before the reviews :)

Now the Yellowcard album it leaked, just 2 days before, the same thing will happen with 13 voices? Or mmaybe the hype for that could change that and leaked the next week or by the weekend?

I will translate the most important things very briefly in English and will use - of course - spoiler tags.
Spoiler: show
1. A murder of crows

-Epic
-A bit like Reason to Believe
-It has violins in it
-Then hell breaks loose
-Excellent opener

2. Goddamn

-DTLI and Chuck-ish
-Hell of a solo: first it's complex and fast, then more melodic
-The chorus was already teased on Instagram

3. Fake death, 7. War and 8. God save us all I will skip

4. Breaking the chain

-Violin intro, builds up with rest of the instruments
-Was also already teaserd on Instagram

5. There will be blood

-Typical live song: awesome chorus, though a bit of another atmosphere compared to the other songs
-Can somehow be compared to The Jester

6. 13 Voices

-From what I understand, it's an eclectic song. Something like Sick of Everyone and Holy Image of Lies. It has a Metallica-esque riff.
-"We got the impression the band took us to a whole new world"

9. The fall and the rise

-Melodic guitar intro
-It has rap verses in it but the chorus is still very Sum 41 (heavy and electric)
-Can not really be compared to any other Sum 41 song

10. Twisted by design

-"The most interesting song on the album
-Muted guitars, piano and if I'm not mistaken very high sung notes that builds up to something epic.

Conclusion

Sum 41 has yet again grown musically, has matured and made an album fans will absolutely love more and more after each listen.

4,5/5, such a shame there's only 10 tracks on it.

Expectations were low but early reviews are suggesting I might be pleasantly surprised.

You need to add that, according to the reviewer, God Save Us all is the less good (just to avoid "worst") song on the record. So... this record should be really amazing.

Beste Skumfucks

Which song is like....

They say they never gonna take the pain away
They say leave it as the hardest way...

But know. TO TAKE MY PAIN AWAY.....

one of the teaser songs? That song is amazing
