Sum 41 Mashups

Post by Jeremy Kill »

I'm really getting a kick out of these lately. Anyone have any cool ones to share?
Also, I can't remember if I made a thread for this already. Feels like I did. I checked and I only made one for a specific video, but I didn't bother checking further back than that. The mashups with With Me are really interesting.

Sum 41 and Papa Roach mashed up sounds excellent. Could actually believe this to be a real song if I was none the wiser.

Just came here to post this! My favourite songs from both bands. (Well, I like Pieces first, but Fat Lip just as much.)
When someone from TNS first posted this mashup, I listened to it continuously. So good.

The 2nd was surprisingly great! The two songs meshed well. The others didn't sound too good.

It’s like sounding really nice, having a good feel, that’s all about the guitar.
That’s what I care about. I’d rather be a better strummer than fuckin' jizz all over the fuckin' fretboard...

Not a Coldplay fan, but I really love this. Especially during the middle of the mashup. Around 2 minutes.

This is really cool. I really enjoyed this except when both vocal tracks were playing.

I'm not sure whether I think the coldplay mashup is a good thing or not since it was originally made just to showcase the blatant similarities between the two songs. I don't personally consider Pieces a rip-off, but I can see why there was quite a ruckus about it being a one. Especially when Deryck plays Pieces on a piano it's even closer to Scientist, even the vocal melody is quite the same.
Anyways. Pieces is the better song imo.

The verses are actually cool, but too many quiet moments through chorus and bridge.

Sort of a mashup though it's freaking awesome:
