Now that SBM has been out for quite some time, their music video is out, Deryck's back isn't troublesome, they're going on tour, they've left their shitty label and is "back" just like Deryck says.
Nothing new has come up yet, but what do you think we can look forward to?
I'm wondering what's going to come next, obviously they are going to tour and keep playing live shows for us.
But will there be more of the fun good stuff such as Road To Ruin, videos in general, updates of some sort like they had on the Eastpak tour last year. Or if you're really optimistic, maybe new material.
Blood In My Eyes acoustic version?
New spontaneous creativity?
Videos, tour updates, fun stuff?
What DO YOU think, What do you EXPECT, What are your SPECULATIONS?
or just nothing will happen :(
another marriage for deryck, which will give us Underclass Hero pt II
Deryck making a solo acoustic record
Deryck becomes a father
Tell me!
What can we look forward to?

Re: What can we look forward to?
Lol at the last sentence. But dude- these threads are kind of unnecessary. Obviously something is going to happen next. We can sit and guess all day, but there's no point in that. If there's on thing you should know about Sum 41 by now it is that- There is ALWAYS a future!!! . We have it quite easy as Sum 41 fans. Don't worry- something's sure to happen in the future. So Stop complaining!
But if you REALLY wanna know, I'd put my money on BIME acoustic being the next thing...;)

I don't think speculating about the future is unnecessary if that is what you're saying.
Sure things people might post will go out of hand, but as long as it brings discussion to the forum I'm down with anything that goes in this thread.
BIME acoustic would certainly be awesome, i can already imagine violins and shit going on in that!
We'll see though

Re: What can we look forward to?
Has he gotten the orchestral parts for it? I'm not sure if he has yet... I think that's why it hasn't yet been released.HugoDisasters wrote:I don't think speculating about the future is unnecessary if that is what you're saying.

Another major question: When do you think they'll start recording their next album? Being positive- my guess would be 2014. And then a release in 2015... I could see that happening.

Re: What can we look forward to?
TOUR UPDATES. TOUR UPDATES.
I was very upset by the lack there of on the last tour. I look forward to those. I mean, they're the whole other part of why I love the band. We get to see their craziness off stage.
Whatever it is that's in store for us, it most likely will not disappoint! (DTLI 10 surely is an example of this and what they're capable of giving us.)

We can look forward to lots of good stuff in two years, the approximate time this stuff will all happen.
That was a jab at "soon".

Time between Chuck and UH : 3 Years
Time between UH and SBM : 4 Years
I hope they are not trying to follow a certain pattern with their albums ...

I have a pretty good feeling that from SBM to the next one is going to be their longest album gap.Ardi41 wrote:Time between AKNF and DTLI? : 1 Yearcladam41 wrote:

Re: What can we look forward to?
I sincerely doubt that. SBM was a special case because it was delayed so much and had late changes. I'm predicting the next album will be out in under 3 years.cladam41 wrote:I have a pretty good feeling that from SBM to the next one is going to be their longest album gap.Ardi41 wrote:Time between AKNF and DTLI? : 1 Yearcladam41 wrote:
