Wanted to say this because, one thing I just noticed. He has changed the line in Reason To Believe from "I don't think that it exists" to "I'm hopeful that it exists". To me that's a clear sign of his happier and more positive attitude. And it's also cool he's changing the lyrics a bit, although the original fits better imo.

I have to agree, the original line does fit better but him changing the lyric does make me feel happy for him that he seems to be at a good place in his life. He deserves that.

I'm bringing this thread back up, but I just needed to say that in my opinion, Deryck is now (back) at his top level of happiness. This tour was a lot healthier for him, staying away from being drunk on stage and not doing anything stupid off stage. He's also back at listening to the fans, and making their shows better for us. He's also happily in a relationship, so to me this seems like he's back to being happy again.

Haha, I actually noticed this in at the show in Berlin. I thought he was just getting the lyrics wrong again or I may have misheard. Nice way of thinking Tomi, I agree btw.

Yeah, his eyelids are quite puffy. If anything it's due to lack of sleep. God damn he looks old in that second photo. It's kind of mesmerizing, I can't stop looking at it.

well he doesn't look like this anymore.. it was just an unlucky date to shoot i guess , cause we all have those days when we look like shit . and i do think he looks way better now , he lost a bit of weight still he does most certainly not look like he did back then when they released Underclass Hero , but hell that was 5 bloody years ago . this guy ain't no god , he gets older like all of us .
And why would you care about his looks ? the way he looks won't change the fact he's writing good music and rocking the shit out of us on concerts (wich he apparently started to do again) .(i mean as long as it's no health issue , and just the fact that he looks tired and scruffy).

Yeah, I noticed what you're talking about with his eyes. At times it's noticeable more than others but I don't think it's anything that can be helped - just the way it is. I don't think it makes him unhealthy. I actually love his eyes.
Side note; I totally thought the BIME performance scenes reminded me of the Walking Disaster video. (Especially at 5:16, with Deryck's movements.)

I think it fucking sucks.
I'm not sure why Deryck has come to be in bad shapes lately, he'll never be as good as during the Underclass era.
It makes me kind of sad looking at these pictures.

Well I guess it's because of what he's been through + the lack of sleep + the drinking that makes him look this way, but I think he looked pretty good this summer (his eyes were ok)!

I of course would love to see him look the way he did during the underclass hero era, he looked great ! I think he still can look like that, especially if he stops drinking and if he rests for a while.
