Hey dudes! In 9 Days I will go to my first Concert of my Life in Berlin, Germany (yes, Sum 41!!) <3
But i have some questions for you!
- Are Cameras allowed? If yes, is this Cam too big to take it with me? http://www.amazon.de/Canon-SLR-Digitalk ... 484&sr=8-1
- Is it possible to buy some Sum 41 Fanarticles in place of the Concert? Because I only have one Tshirt, and this is UGLY!
and mhm... are there some important Informations for me? I hope you can read my f*ked up English<3
sum Questions about my first Concert!
Re: sum Questions about my first Concert!
Most likely they'll have merch-stand there, so yes.- Is it possible to buy some Sum 41 Fanarticles in place of the Concert? Because I only have one Tshirt, and this is UGLY!
About the cameras, I believe it's up to the venue whether they're allowed.

Re: sum Questions about my first Concert!
I'm planning to go to the Berlin show as well, though the place I ordered tickets from just told me that they are sorry that their website is not up to date and the tickets sold out :(. If anyone please can help get tickets for a decent price, I'm seriously begging, the show is nine days and I already booked a flight and a hotel. H-e-l-p.
PS: How much time does Express delivery take. It costs almost as much as the ticket and I don't know if I'll get it in time.

As for cameras, as far as I know they're allowed anywhere in europe.

Only tickets for Wurzburg, which I'm not sure is any near my hotel. I'm really pissed they cancelled my order...if anyone else can, that would be awesome. Though thanks for trying blackhawk1105blackhawk1105 wrote:seatwave.com is where hentaiman got tickets for 2 shows in the netherlands, try that site..Hoocher wrote:I'm planning to go to the Berlin show as well, though the place I ordered tickets from just told me that they are sorry that their website is not up to date and the tickets sold out :(. It's when you're carrying around SLR's with multiple lenses they tend to get shitty about it.

Yeah, in most of the places. I tried to order somewhere you have an option to print and they were sold out and then I tried to order somewhere where I can pick it up in Berlin and it worked but 24h later they told me there website is not up to date and it's also sold out. So I had to order it to through express delivery abroad. Anyway, I hope it'll get here quick, anyway, if you want I'll meet you there. Talk to me through PM.darkroxi wrote:what?! Sold out?!!?

Re: sum Questions about my first Concert!
i never had any problems with cameras ... and about the size of the cam .. it is not too big really , but the thing is , that it can easily be damaged when you're in the mosh pit or elsewhere .. if you're not planning to party in there and just want to watch the show without going nuts , then you can take that cam with you and stand somewhere in the corner or something ^^ but i wouldn't recommend that on a sum concert

Yeah I ordered from ticketmaster eventually (since other sites which were cheaper and more comfortable sold out), though the price for the delivery is 19 euros so it's basically comes out around 45 euros.darkroxi wrote:25,50€: http://www.ticketmaster.de/event/sum-41-Tickets/38147

I just hope it will be delivered here before my flight.

Re: sum Questions about my first Concert!
no they are more like in the middle of the crowd , but if you are way on the front, like in the first row , it shouldn't be that big of a problem . in fact they might drag you up on stage , if you do something that would get their attention . My camera wasn't that small either and it survived ^^darkroxi wrote:damn. mosh pit means in front of the stage? shit. I mean, I know people do it through cellphones and such, but the quality is pretty fine in your videos, looks like a decent camera, and for some reason I have the thought that it's been decided that using cameras at shows is not allowed anymore due to some reason (please correct me if I'm wrong).
If you're not sure about the camera policy, it helps if you're a guy. Just hide the camera into your pants to cover your crotch. If they search your stuff and pockets, that's the place they'll never touch, so you should be okay. In the crowd, don't use lightning if it's not allowed, otherwise you'll get caught fast. If they don't allow filming, be sure that you turn the red recording light off, or cover it with your finger. Also, cover the REC indicator on your screen, as well as the timer. Then, don't hold your hand still all the time, since that's a clear sign you're filming. Yes, it affects the quality, but the alternative is to get caught and lose your camera.
These are my experiences. Before my first show ever, I read this thread to be prepared.
