Honestly, i think he really likes his signature guitar (squier or not).

It’s like sounding really nice, having a good feel, that’s all about the guitar.
That’s what I care about. I’d rather be a better strummer than fuckin' jizz all over the fuckin' fretboard...

I think they will play something from DTLI : Thanks for nothing ,Hooch, Hyper insomnia, Billy Spleen, All messed up are the songs that they haven't plaayed live in the past 9/10 years; maybe also something from AKNF: Crazy Amanda , Summer, All she's got. We will see.

I feel they've toured Europe well enough that they can change their setlist almost completely. Throw in some rarities in there; it'll make the show more special and unique. Touring for the sake of promoting Screaming Bloody Murder is no longer existent, so they may as well play shows for the sake of playing shows, switching songs for the sake of suspense and unpredictability.

According to Brown Tom, the label deal with Island Records has ended. More info after Cyril gets his answers written down.

This could be the reason why the BIME release has been postponed. Since Island owns the rights to the song, but Sum 41 isn't on their roster anymore.

This could potentially mean no music for a long time, until the band get a new label (which, knowing them will take years).

I kind of thought they weren't with Island anymore when I noticed them not listed on their website recently. That does make sense as to why there's no official BIME release at the moment.

We've been conditioned to waiting long periods of time for things, so we should be fine! :winkwink:

Huh. Hopefully they get a new label soon. I really hope for Epitaph, but I suppose they'll sign to some big major label. Anyhow, I think this may be a good thing, considering how much dispute they've had with Island in the past few years.

I mean longer than usual. Previously, the band didn't have an excuse for taking their sweet ass time with everything they did. Now they do, so I'm guessing they're gonna make the most of it.

This!^ I'm just glad they aren't with Island records anymore. I feel like they were holding the sums down.

BTW @Ardi41: I really like your sig, as all of them.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Sums just self-release their future material.

this could be the reason for making a new webside as well...the current one is powerd by ground(ctrl). though i don't know if island administrated the "old" one.

Hi guys, didn't read all the previous answers, but Tom told me that the deal with Universal has ended. To be honest, I don't know if that means the deal with IR has ended too...

He told me they weren't satisfied with Universal (huge lack of promotion in north america, ...). Hopefully that means they would like to tour more in the US ?

Hmm. I watched a few videos in which The Blackout covered Fat Lip. Does anyone know if there are there any other major bands that have covered Sum 41?
