Sounds interesting, but normally i don't have enough luck in lotteries

Also it seems you have to pay shipping and customs, so no real give-away at all...
have a try and test your knowledge:

It’s like sounding really nice, having a good feel, that’s all about the guitar.
That’s what I care about. I’d rather be a better strummer than fuckin' jizz all over the fuckin' fretboard...

So, as we've talked about that Sums would need to play longer setlists..

Here's the setlist for Guns N' Roses' latest show.

Haha. That's a nice setlist.

1 Do What You Want
2 Overture
3 Sinister Rouge
4 We're Only Gonna Die
5 Recipe For Hate
6 Flat Earth Society
7 Before You Die
8 A Walk
9 How Much Is Enough?
10 No Control
11 Requiem For Dissent
12 Sanity
13 Atomic Garden
14 New Dark Ages
15 Man With A Mission
16 Suffer
17 Germs Of Perfection
18 No Direction
19 Los Angeles Is Burning
20 I Want To Conquer The World
21 Along The Way
22 Fuck Armageddon... This Is Hell
23 Generator
24 Infected
25 American Jesus
26 21st Century (Digital Boy)
27 Sorrow
28 Punk Rock Song

And thats the setlist of Bad Religion when they did a festival gig in Finland few years back. I mean 28 songs?? Bleh, I'd wish Sums would play as many.

What are the odds on that they actually release the Blood In My Eyes video? I'd say very high. What little hype they had around the Grammys they've completely wasted.

They kinda had an excuse for not releasing SBM, but I see no reason why BIME shouldn't be released. They sounded really energetic about it a few weeks ago but now they've gone dark.

Man if we were talking about the early 90's Guns'n'roses I'd gladly sell my soul for a ticket.

Can't remember for how long did the sums play when I saw them, can't be more than an hour and a half

this is kinda the main ''sum41'' discussion

so, what would you guys want for the next album?
a whole new style..maybe something like ''baby you dont wanna know''
another dark heavy album or poppunk again

for me: i would love to see them poppunk again
underclass hero ( okay alot of songs had the same key and sounded like eachother) but i really like that album
things as the walking disaster outro,3 voices in pull the curtain, the end of pull the curtain, all the epic blabla/lalala's
and chorus of count your last blessing...damn

i thought that album had some really artistic things....alot of you will hate me for saying this...but i think it's their best album yet.

i like another album like that, but with tom taking part of the recording proces.
deryck - lead vocals rhythm guitar
brown tom - lead guitar

and i really want tom and cone singing background voices instead of ''just all deryck''

that would be so awesome.

There were only two acoustic songs on that album... -.-

Personally, I would like to see the band return to the more 'raw' musical style of Chuck, while retaining their newly developed musical prowess which is evident largely in Underclass Hero and Screaming Bloody Murder. And lots of guitar solos.

However, if I were to put my money on anything, it would be that the future of the band lies more in the direction of songs like Baby You Don't Wanna Know and Time For You to Go. One thing is for sure - they're never going back to the pop-punk style of All Killer No Filler, and I doubt we'll ever see anything remotely like Underclass Hero again.

Though this is all speculation; it'll be a good few years before the band actually get round to doing anything constructive again, methinks.

With all honesty- I think the smart thing to do would be do listen to an album before deciphering what you think of things  and peoples opinions and thoughts.

Think about it. :winkwink:

I wouldn't mind the Sums trying out the metalcore scene. I believe that will be hilarious.

UH's lyrics with SBM's music = awesomeness.

I love their darker sound, I hope they will progress it.

As much as I love their dark sound- I dont know but the songs seem to not really mean anything to me. Like- they can make me crap my pants anyday, but it doesn't get deep. I want Sum 41 to get deep. Like Gaslight Anthem kinda..

It's the album I listen to most after SBM and American Idiot. It's not an acoustic album. This is a fact; not open to to opinion.

Tell me- what instrument is being played for the majority of the album?
ACOUSTIC GUITAR noob!...I know that some (most) songs get heavy near the end. But it's still a really chill sound and mood throughout the album.
