Like I said before, it definetely has those influences of AVA and (+44) and some songs sound like the old Blink definetely, but I don't feel it. There's something missing, maybe the alchemy they used to have.

Like for example, where's the power (again) in the GOTDF-chorus?

Seriously, there are some cool musical ideas on this record, but they could have done more with them imo.

Liking Natives and Wishing Well, This Is Home is horrible.

Such a pity they didn't complete the step they took with their last album.

I kinda like every song except for Up All Night and Ghost On The Dancefloor, a pretty good album, I'm definitely not disappointed! (YET :P), but also it definitely isn't better than their Untitled album

it also works with Ubuntu, and with Ubuntu you have to use that line to make UNrar work

that was the thing I always forgot to do after I'd installed Ubuntu on computers of my friends, than I had to send them the line afterwards

After Midnight was like a more straight up less goth version of The Cure. I haven't listened to the rest so I can't say. But yeah that song definitely had a bit of Cure in it. But not even the chorus, just the verse and bridge thing.

This album is fucking awesome and the weird thing is that I don't like any other Blink-182 album at all. I don't really like any of their earlier songs. Wishing Well & After Midnight are highlights for me. But I really can't stand Mark's vocals at all. I don't like his voice at all and he's not that great singer either. Tom's vocals are perfect.

Well I kinda agree with Samuel, I like their previous work but so far this album sounds pretty cool to me, and I prefer Tom's vocals to Mark's... I've been listening a lot to AVA lately, so I guess that's why it doesn't "shock" me, I'm sure some people were expecting the old Blink, but that AVA and +44 feel in some songs works for me !

This album is in my line of expectation.. It's a good mix with everything they done beside Blink and a good follow up for a an album that doesn't exist after their untitled..

I'd choose Mark's vocals over Tom's any day.

I definitely can sense The Cure throughout the album, at some parts definitely, and I would call myself a big The Cure fan

The new CD sounds like everything the members have done in side projects, and I pretty much dislike every sideproject they ever been involved in.

The fact that you dislike Box Car Racer makes this statement invalid. Haha

The synth in This Is Home makes it sound like some of the more happy and optimistic Cure songs... kinda like Friday I'm In Love for example.

Fighting the Grave also has a very much Cure feel to it.

This is probably my personal AOTY. Love everything about it. No tracks that I have skipped since purchasing it.

And as people suggested, a lot of the synthy parts had a much more Cure feel to it than AVA. The only AVA aspect of this for me is Tom's still unexplained shift in vocals.

After Midnight, Snake Charmer, Wishing Well, Kaleidoscope, and Fighting The Gravity are my recommended tracks.. but I think ANY track is fantastic to listen to.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.
