Lol while we're talking about lyrics, I like this guys interpretation of the reason to believe chorus on his UG tab

Dm Bb F
Yeah give me reason to believe
C/E Dm
this world is not a seat machine
Bb F
When everywhere is a dead
C/E
and having an erection

Listening to the album on CD for the first time. Bought it on CD a couple of weeks back (pre-ordered on iTunes for release date) I said I'd wait until I got my desk and monitors set up in my new apartment before I listened on CD.

Well worth it

Happiness Machines...I'm coming clean...what can you DO FOR ME!?

Best lyric I've heard in a while. I always focus on this line, when walking around campus or wherever.

should I buy the album? I'm debating whether or not I should...18$ is alot for us children...

but this album was the first album of my childhood that I've ever waited for. I already heard the album and its on my mp3, so should I buy the CD for collections sake?

Um, is this even a question? haha. You SHOULD buy it! Simply for that sake and the cd booklet is pretty awesome. It was put together and took a lot of effort so why not get the real thing. It's well worth the money!

I think the best lyrics that sticks in my head on SMB is..
"In just one life, how can we, life enough to rest in peace" on Holy Images of Lies

Haha, I tweeted that Happiness Machines lyric earlier. The Holy Image of Lies one has appeared on mine and Jeremy's Twitter a couple of times too :silly:

Favourite lyric you say?

"Tell me something I don't want to know"

Love the way he sings it (and the backing vocal), and it just says a whole lot more to me than it really should

HIOL is lyrically one of Sum 41's best works. My favourite line is 'You don't need to worry, I'm just fine. I've just lost my mind.'

My favorite lines are:

'If this is goodbye, forever's just a lie, big enough to make you wanna try.'

'Give me reason to believe, this world's not a sick machine, when everywhere's a dead end in ever direction!'

'It's hard to get a grip when you're holding onto something, you just let slip away.'

'It's hard to keep together when you don't know where to start'

'In just one life, how can we, live enough to rest in peace?'

'I'm not quite myself these days, guess we all come undone time to time in different ways.'

Well the whole album contains amazing lyrics! :D

There are some good lyrics on this album that stand out to me. Others that weren't really mentioned:

"I'm not okay, but I'm fine this way. I need no change."

"You have your scars, but I never thought that you would give me mine."

"Cause after all, you can't get everything you want now."

And the instant classic...

"I just want to feel you cum!" :hehe:

On a slightly related note, EVERY time I hear the line "And now war's declared drawing the battle lines", I see Jeremy drawing the line on the floor. Every fucking time.
