i know he can act, its just he seems to be same weird -goofball loud guy in almost everyone of his movies. at least thats the way i see it.

i thought Bruce Almighty was a funny movie when it came out.

I personally like his comedies, but the two best of his movies definitely are The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, the two movies where he's proven that he can act a serious character, without a single try to make people laugh

Yeah The Truman Show is an amazing movie ! I didn't see Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, nor any of his recent movies, but I really think it's one of the best actors out there

I can't really take him seriously, and that's why he kinda lacks acting skills in my view. I'm not saying he's a bad actor but I certainly don't think he's a great one. And yeah I also get the feeling that all his characters are the same person.
