btw...I love AKNF, it was the album that makes me turn into SUM 41 and the punk rock scene...but I've grown up and thank god SUM 41's sound grown up too...that's why I still love SUM 41. In fact, I love SUM 41 even more and I think they are so much better now, but that doesn't mean I don't like AKNF anymore.

And that comment about SUM 41 'sucks ass' was ridiculous and without any valid argument. Well, I guess if you don't invent the wheel you suck ass, stupid asshole

I think it would be great if Sum 41 brought Gob along. I mean it would give the guys from Gob a chance to play their music live... Who knows, we might hear some new Gob music played live if this happened =D

I agree. All killer no filler was an okay album but in my opinion their worst. And when you type Sum 41 into youtube, in too deep is the first song you get. It's a shame really..

1) Gob
2) Operation MD
3) Random Band (Any band would do)
4) ~Sum 41~ (main act)

So Tom isn't the only one to play a full two sets. Also both Tom and Cone can take a breather before Sum 41 plays.

He explains this so well.

“It’s not a breakup record, there are moments of that in certain lyrics, it’s just that the emotions are real and things are going to come out,” says Whibley, who worked with and dismissed a procession of producers on the album before deciding to handle production duties on his own. “I don’t know if the songs are better or we’re a better band, but there’s a different feeling on this. I feel like there’s actual real emotion, where maybe in the past I don’t think we got into it as deep.”

This was exactly what I felt when I listened to the new songs. Like, I know not every song would be solely about divorce, but it's not like Deryck would dismiss that ever happening in his writing. If it happens, it happens - he was genuinely hurt by it and sometimes it'll seep its way into a single lyric (ie. intro/outro to Screaming Bloody Murder could indirectly reference this).

Anyway, I'm excited to hear the emotions on this record.
