Wow :ohshiz: how do you know?
basically, if epic = crash + sick of it all + happiness machines, then those 3 seconds are definitely from happiness machines.

i've heard epic.

it's as good as saying that the 88/slayer type breakdown (in triplets) in one of the studio updates is part of sick of it all.
Do you remember the studio updates? And yes I remember you mentioned it long time ago
Thanks! :glad:

yup. i rewatched the studio updates a couple times after hearing epic. props to the dude who cut the youtube video "possible new songs".

If it was that link that was posted a few pages ago, then I know what you're talking about, but they had the Screaming Bloody Murder single cover on there, isn't there supposed to be a different cover? I guess they were just using it cause it's out, but ok.

oh, i just read the tracklist someone posetd with times and noticed there's no 12 minute song...i get that there'll be 3 songs which join or something, but that's not a 12 minute song. kind of disappointed. it should've been a 12 minute track with different parts

i think our expectations for the 12 minute song went out of control. i remember reading an article of some sort saying it was a 12 minute section, though i think it was said later on they meant song. but also it was stated at the time when it was going to be released for free that it would be a good taste of what the rest of the album would be, so it was possible that the 3-4 parts in it are good representations of what the album would sound like because they'd end up being 3-4 songs on the album. also it was stated that releasing the 12 minute song for free would be like having a quarter of the album free, so yeah, 12 minutes is a quarter of 48 (the length of the album if those times are correct). but i'm still hoping someone gets a response from someone who knows what's going on because i'd still like having a 12 minute song on this album.

but then again i also remember a sum 41 tweet (a joke of course) that the 12 minute song took 5 minutes to write

reading the reviews of the album, i'm excited to hear this album. it sounds like it really is as eclectic as they've been describing.

it'll be pretty stupid if it's 3 tracks that are joined or something. AVA's LOVE album had lots of songs which joined together but they definitely weren't one long song all together.

12 minute bonus track hey...that'd be cool :P

Well, after reading the review again, it seems like this is one hell of a record!

Except for the slower songs, the French guy says, allthough I'm sure I'll adore them.

It all seems very intense and eclectic, indeed.

Oh by the way: remember when Cone bought a Hofner bass à la Paul Mccartney? He might have used that one in Baby You Don't Wanna Know, if you read the description.

I would be surprised if Jessica Kills was part of the Epic. When I talked to Deryck in Helsinki, it went like this:

Me: So, I heard Jessica Kill is part of that 12-minute song, right?
Deryck: WHAT? No no no, who told you that?
Me: Brown Tom did. He told me that when I talked to him in Prague.
Deryck: What? No no, definitely not.

Am i the only one who's starting to find it ridiculous that Tom wears a hat in every picture or video he's in? Who cares about the receding hairline.
