No, there were some other shows at the North American tour in 2009 that they covered the whole song. It was around the Hoodwink show... before or after or whatever but they did so.
Did they? I've never seen/heard them play it anywhere else. Where did you find this?
Well, here's for example them playing this at the Crazy Donkey:

I think it was like a few days after Hoodwink, and I know for sure there was at least one other show they played it on. I think they also played the whole For Whom the Bell Tolls on that show or another show before/after Hoodwink. Anyway, it was all on the same 2009 US tour.

here's one from the Glee-tard topic; if you guys were approached to have your song re-invented/mutilated by Glee, would you let them?
you have far too much time on your hands

exactly the same. haven't heard pieces live yet and I've been on them three times last year too. BUT crowd in Vienna wanted Iron Maiden when Deryck asked if we like metal, so they played a short part of The Trooper I think. Then Master of Puppets as usual.

I think they did that in every show. In Finland it was Back In Black by AC/DC, The Trooper and Master Of Puppets.
And someone said they played a Michael Jackson song in Sweden.

Talking about Dave, I read one of the interviews in the SBM topic, and Deryck says he doesn't think about him...

Yeah, I was said to read about that. I thought they're all on cool terms now.. so what's that with Deryck not thinking about him? I bet he misses Dave.. I mean, maybe it really doesn't have that much of an impact on the recording and such.. but I bet he still misses Dave being around and such. Dave really seemed like a cool guy and he's all down to earth and shit, so even if Deryck doesn't miss him studio-wise (all the talks about him always thinking if Dave is gonna like these guitar parts while writing could be frustrating if it's true), he still could at least speak good of him as a person.
