Cone tell me in a message that no present of New Year :( Only the new album most likely in march but they still haven't decided when they release the 12 minute song

Fuck well its finally January and the band said the single would be released in this month so we all just have to wait just a little longer >.<

Yeah, its not like theyve missed their perscribed window of opportunity in the past with this album. Oh, apart from the Summer '09 release and the Summer '10 12-minute song. I wouldnt be surprised if it fell back to Summer '11.

still don't get all this "sum41 is back" and all, to me UH was extremely artistic and different, which is why I love this band, they never do the same thing twice, so imo they never left. Pull The Curtian, Speak of The Devil, and Best of Me were pure brilliance. UH was a great album, as were AKNF, DTLI, and Chuck, and this one will be as well. period.

My thought exactly. I try to ignore all the hate towards UH, since that's my favorite album. My favorite individual songs are from DTLI and Chuck, but as an album UH rocks all the way from start to end. So when I heard Sums would go back to heavier style, I hoped they would incude the artistic side of UH in SBM.

btw, is the song title really 'epic'? did you learn any other titles? i think somebody should update the SBM info summary with this.

"Epic" was the working title. And after they decided the proper title, they kept using Epic, since Deryck didn't want to spread the title out yet.

Everyone jizzed in their pants 'cause it's the only shit that came out from Skumfuk. It really does sounds cool. I just can't wait for that single I hope it will be out somewhere around 20th January.

I agree, even though those to songs are WAAAAAY different, MOTD is higher on my favorite list.

I'm one of those people who consider UH the worst album Sums have released. Not that songs are necessarily bad, but they just somewhat lack originality in my opinion. They recycle too many ideas throughout the album and the album sounds a bit repetitive. Best songs on the album are the ones which show that unique side of Sum 41 which differentiates them from rest of similar groups. Uniqueness of Sum 41 comes from those metal and hard rock influences in my opinion and I'm glad they're letting it show again. UH is not a bad album by any means, It's just a bit generic pop-punk record.

I could have not worded it better myself(although i like it better then AKNF) The lyrics were great but the instruments were...um...not. I think they are much better when they take influences from bands Iron Maiden and Mettalica, not Blink-182 and Green Day (although Sum 41 is the best of the two)

Blink 182 and Green Day are awesome bands ...although I prefer Blink 182 but I like GD too ...you do not judge quality of the music,you say that the type that you like is the best ...you like IM and Metallica more than B182 or GD and then sure that you like Chuck or DTLI more ...it is understandable though...nobody can beat Metallica in guitar songs or so,I agree ...songs like One,NEM or The Unforgiven are unbelievable ...but Blink 182 or GD are awesome too ...

Could be, I heard alot of rumours, I don't know what to believe. I heard that Avril wanted to be free or something (kinda weird cause she's with that jenner asshole now) but I also heard that Deryck was drinking all the time. Well I don't care.


Still waiting for the 12 minute song.. I've got high hopes that they'll release it this month.
