Re: my brand new music page!
the originals have some good beats and some good lead sounds. Last two covers sounded awesome!
Misunderstanding has a lighter feel to it more so than the others, its was my fave out of the originals, reminded me a bit of AKNF, the other 3 weren't really my taste, but sounded like you had some great skills. The Slow Song was kinda an oxymoron, sense it wasn't slow lol

These are really cool man! You've got skill, haha! The guitar sounds alright to me; much better quality than what I've been using to record I think. I really dig the beginning of "The Weight That's Lost". Sounds epic!

Yo bro, nice page! Well done, some cool sounds there :) I also like 'The Weight That's Lost' and they're some cool extra harmonized parts in Puppets. Keep up the good work!
I found this if you need any ideas for recording vocals: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jun01/a ... alsfaq.asp
With regard to mixing vocals - make sure they maintain a healthy level in the mix, add a small bit of reverb to achieve a natural roomy kind of sound. Make sure to lower the noise floor as much as possible (which just involves getting rid of empty bits of track with spill and amp noise etc) This helps to make the vocals more distinguished and dynamic sounding. It's cool to keep lead vocals panned centre, but experiment by panning backing vocals and harmonies left and right!

Re: my brand new music page!
thanks so much everyone for checking it out! truly appreciate it.
some of the heavier tracks were originally written for my old joke hardcore band "fists full of rainbows" which is why each track title is a kind of a joke (slow song, the weight that's lost) the stuff I do for myself only will maybe be more like Misunderstanding, or maybe a little heavier at times.
as far as my set-up goes, I'm just plugging my amp - as well as my electric drum and bass guitar - into a US-122l tascam interface, which goes into the computer. makes for nice clean recordings! my gear itself isn't that extravagant. but I'm poor haha.
also, thank you fergal41 for the advice and that link

Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.

Re: my brand new music page!
So I had tons of candy and I was going nuts, so I decided to add vocals to carousel.....now I already know that it's "gay" and it's got tons of auto-tune.....it was just for fun! it's all kind of a joke.
and yes, I was sort of poking fun at AVA in the bridge although I think their music is great.
