Picked up a new tripod with my camera. It's also raining like heck. I'm glad I mowed the lawn yesterday!

Saw The Gaslight Anthem in the O2 Academy in Oxford last night! It was the best gig I've ever been to! I got to be at the very front and the setlist was amazing!

saw them on Saturday in London, and it was awesome! was a bit worried that they wouldn't be able to pull off a big venue yet (Brixton's capacity is like 5000) but they pulled it off with style. the new songs sounds great live.

Yeah, I was amazed at how great the new songs turned out. They played "We Did it When We Were Young" for the first time last night, and I thought it was one of the best songs they played! I was a bit disappointed they didn't play anything from "Sink or Swim" though.

yea, I read they played When We Were Young for the first time. from what I remember, they only played We Came To Dance from SOS in London, bit gutted at the lack of SOS but kind of expected it. from what I've read, you were treated to a longer set in Oxford compared to the other shows, lucky bugger! did they play the Baba O'Riley cover?

Haha, yeah, they extended the set list. They didn't play "Baba O' Reilly", which is weird cuz I had a peek at the written set list and it was there. Maybe they took it off so they could extend the show with more of their songs. They played most of "The '59 Sound" and "American Slang" and a bit of "Señor and the Queen". Lol, and Brian's monologues are always great to hear haha!
