I think in that studio update from a while ago Deryck said the mixing, mastering and the production of the actual CD took three or four months altogether if it were to be done the fastest way possible without anything going wrong. I could be wrong though, I can't remember exactly what he said.
He said in one update it would hopefully come out late summer, so if they're slow it would be around October

Um, Tom mixed the whole Chuck album, along with The Hell Song in DTLI.
Also, GCY is mixed by Tom.

I was hoping for Tom instead of Chris. I don't know why though. :silly:

Actually Tom mixed No Reason, We're All To Blame, Some Say, The Bitter End & There's No Solution
Andy Wallace mixed the rest, like he mixed DTLI except The Hell Song.

Haha, no worries. I had just finished reading who did the mixing when I made that post.

Also, I just had a major deja vu when writing this post.

They probably did, yes.

But it gets pushed back every single album.

As long as they don't pull a 21st Century Breakdown and take five years to release an album. Or worse yet... a Chinese Democracy.

Oh God :suicide:

I would have to Kill Sum 41 if this happened

Chinese Democracy was an utter JOKE!

took over 10 years to release and it was a steaming pile of shite

Haha, Chinese Democracy was one of the biggest anti-climaxes in music that I know of. Though, Luke (LTS) loved that album.

Ha, even when I first heard that Dr. Pepper was doing that I knew it wouldn't happen. A free can of Dr. Pepper for everyone in America? They probably thought Axl wasn't going to release the album that year, haha. It's hard to believe that that was back in 2008. I think the only song I didn't mind of the album was "Better".

Anyway, to bring this back to Sum 41, I think the furthest they'll push back the album, if it had to be, would be September.

I don't think Underclass Hero was really pushed back on its release date, was it?

The date itself stayed the same, but when all the recordings and mixing were done, Sums said it would be out in June. But when the actual date was announced, it was July 24th all the way.

Nah, it probably won't be delayed. Everything seems to be on track, recording last of the vocals and mixing right now. Album art is probably ready too.

So it's time to drink some mojito!
