Just wondering what amps are people using and what do they think of them? Post pics if you wish.
I've got a Marshall AVT100
Also got a Marshall MB4210 bass amp. Weighs an absolute TON.
As well as two small Fender practice amps, one for bass and one for guitar.
Also I'm wondering if anyone can advise me on a nice amp to get that I can take back to uni with me in September (below £200) for my 72 Telecaster Deluxe. I just think the Marshall amps sounds really awful with Fender guitars, well the one I have does anyway. I was thinking about just buying a Blackstar distortion pedal and putting it through one of those cheap small Fender practice amps on clean.. what dya think?

Re: Amps
A shitty Fender 15g. But, if i don't have to buy a drum set, I'll have all that money to go toward a huge fuckin' orgy amp.
On a side note, i like that guitar beside that Bassman amp. And max, you should sell the bass amp to fund some guitar shit.I'll prolly buy a Marshall, or something if i don't have to buy a drum set. Basically the biggest thing i can get for around $350.

Re: Amps
I've got a Fender Frontman 25R. I really content with it at the moment. It goes well with my PODxt. It's pretty basic and I've had it since I first started playing guitar. Eventually, I want to get a Marshall of some sort. I was thinking the Haze or whatever it's called. It's a combo amp with tubes.

Re: Amps
Not sure the size or anything, but I just looked up the amp I own right now and it's hella-cheap. Only $100. It works pretty good for me, although I don't use it without my PODxt.Max wrote:Also I'm wondering if anyone can advise me on a nice amp to get that I can take back to uni with me in September (below £200) for my 72 Telecaster Deluxe. Re: Amps
Thanks Jeremy. I've got the 15G already which is definitely loud enough etc so I'm tempted to just stick to that and buy a nice distortion pedal.. borrowing a friends pedal tonight to decide whether I want to buy it or not.Jeremy Kill wrote:Not sure the size or anything, but I just looked up the amp I own right now and it's hella-cheap.
