I'm thinking about going anyway, but it is a 4 hour drive from Hamburg, plus if I don't get in, I will miss it completely. If I stay at home, I can at least watch/record the webstream.

I'm thinking about the easiest way to record since I don't know any flash stream capture tools. Recording from fullscreen mode in 1280x800 at half-size 640x400 (the stream seems to be 640x360) with Fraps takes just over 500MB/minute. So one hour should be between 30 and 40GB. Not a problem. I think I will set everything up and tell my roommate to start the recording so I can still go. No luck searching on ebay, not even a single hit.

Alright, time to get a few hours of sleep for the trip.

I know this topic is kinda old.. but how did you eventually get in?

We didn't. We were more than 3 hours late because of a marathon taking place in Hamburg which got us redirected endlessly, traffic jams on the freeway, a missed exit in the middle of the trip, a closed-for-construction exit in Duisburg and trouble finding the location from the next exit. We planned to arrive at 13:00 so we would have had enough time to ask for tickets until 14:00. We actually arrived 16:20, so even Sum 41 had already begun and there was no way of getting in anymore. We then took a walk around the place, looking at this iron mill or whatever it was, and took some photos and videos of the autograph session later.

No, I wasn't. I was only running around with my brother in front of the thing and watched the signing.

Yeah and it was a fun trip, so no regrets. We had a great time and we knew this could happen.
