I can't say I'm suprised. I mean if you're really an uber geek you play some game to that extent that it becomes almost more important to you than real life, even if you don't admit it, it becomes the more relevant reality. The individual often doesn't think of the consequences that are the result of his actions, as long as he gets to play the game.
I speak from experiance, unfortunately, but the worst thing I did is that I broke a door when I got locked out of my room and I couldn't play. Yeah then I got a real life, thank god.
