Church & Destroy - Humankind EP

Post by Dan »

Hey guys,

Yes, I know I use TNS almost exclusivly for spamming my band, Church & Destroy (www.myspace.com/churchdestroymusic) to you guys. But this time is different. We're going to release our second EP in the next few days.

If you havent been keeping up with us, we've been videoing our recording sessions for you to enjoy.

Day 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnJKSOUm118
Day 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJjmrwvNUbs
Day 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13mRrSMtv5U
Day 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GwCwAcBPmY

Whilst I can't announce the release date, I can announce this.

The EP will be called Humankind. Whilst being the name of one of the tracks, we also believe it encompasses the range of feelings expressed on the record.

It will contain 5 tracks. Those tracks are:

1. Humankind
2. True Love Died
3. I'm So Into You
4. I Remember
5. Someday

Someday can be heard in full on our myspace (www.myspace.com/churchdestroymusic), as can a 30 second preview of each track.

This is the artwork for the EP.

And you can pre-order it here:

Any comments appreciated... anyone placing a pre-order, even moreso!

Sounds really good. I really enjoy your band's style with the acoustic guitars and upbeat melodies. The first song, Humankind, is probably my favorite, but from those 30 second previews I think the whole EP is quality.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I'm waiting for final confirmation from the guy who played drums, and then should realease it once I get that. It'll be out in the next few days.

When I release it, I'll put Humankind and True Love Died on the MySpace, but you'll have to pay if you want to hear the rest of it.

Thanks Hentaiman!

I know you're a fan, so I always look forward to seeing your messages about C&D.

I was originally going to make some physical copies. Unfortunatley, it turned out to be far more expensive than I anticipated. For the forseeable future, I will not be releasing any. It's download only.

What I may do though though, is put all the images that would be on the physical vesion (Artwork, booklet, Disc art) as files in the .zip of the album download.

Doesnt really matter though, as nobodies bought it yet.

Spread the word!
