ok for the longest time i've been holding my guitar pick with three fingers (index finger, middle finger, and thumb) and i'm begining to think thats not the best way to hold it for lead. is it more efficient to use two fingers instead of three?
in your opinion whats the best way to hold a pick?

Re: pick holding
You're supposed to just use your thumb and index. It's quite easy to fall into using three fingers, I did it myself for a while.

All that I need is time for me to breathe. Dream little dreams that only I believe. Now that I see beyond the light, I'm gonna be, I'll be alright.

Yeah, thumb and index, although when I started, before going to my guitar teacher and all, I also used 3 fingers but its not good... its quite annoying actually hahaha.

Re: pick holding
Thumb & index.
I don't see how you could use three, it's extremely uncomfortable for me.
I can also strum much faster with two.
