Deryck Originally Recorded "Innocence" with Evan Taubenfeld

Evan Taubenfeld (Avril's former lead guitarist) said this week that Avril's song "Innocence" was originally recorded for him with Deryck.

"I recorded innocence with deryck actually but Avril just did SUCH a better job singing it."

Not sure what role Deryck played in the making of that song.

However, we just learned that Evan has a new song on his album called "Evan Way" which features Avril and is sort of a spin-off of "Innocence". Chances are, Deryck produced that song or played some role in the making of it.

Producing, could be, but there aren't any mention of it in the album booklet in section of producers.
But since Deryck played guitar and bass for "One Of Those Girls" and "Contagious", he might have played them in "Innocence" too.

If you like ballads, sure, its a great song. Deryck has worked with Avril and Evan a lot, but I guess its up to you guys if you want to persue the info further.
