You know what's funny ? back in 2001 - Search in Youtube : Sum 41 Tour Bus Interview - , Deryck said that it will be great if they could tour with Gob , and in the DVD Introduction to Destruction , Cone and Dave were wearing Gob t-shirts all the time, 7 years later , Tom Thacker , lead singer of Gob , is actually touring with them as a guitar player... Ironic ha ?

Should this be in the "Other Music" forum?

Anyways, I haven't had much experience with Gob, but their latest album is pretty sweet.

The album "Underground" rocks!

Got some really good songs on it. Otherwise, its tracks like Oh Ellin,I hear you calling that I listen to. But the Gob in past did many shitty tracks.

They are great!
In my opinion, they are as great and diverse as Sum 41. I mean, their first efforts are more old school fast trashy punk rock, then they have this more AKNF Pop punk feel, and their latest album "Muertos Vivos" is definitely to Gob what Chuck is to Sum 41. I can barely hear any punk rock in it, it has mostly a hard rock and alternative & heavy metal sound.

Anyway they have so much song, I mean, I love Foot In Mouth Disease and Muertos Vivos entirely, both are so great and different, and World According to Gob is also great.

Best Songs: Ming Tran, We're All Dying, War Is A Cemetery, Underground, Still Feel Nothing, Give Up The Grudge, Bully, I Hear You Calling, I've Been Up These Steps, Oh! Ellin, Everybody's Getting Hooked Up, Bones, When Life Gets Boring..., That's The Way, Desktop Breaking, and so much more i can't remember!

Great band, I'm really into them again now. I started listening to them before Tom even got into Sum 41, i just heard the name somewhere and decided to try 'em and then I got all excited that Tom tours with Sum 41 since he's a great singer in Sum 41, but... he's not such a good backup vocalist in Sum 41. I mean, maybe he's so great he was destined to be a lead singer and he's not great being backup haha :devious:
