I used to play piano. I played since I was 7 and then quit when I was 11 or 12. But the one instrument I've always wanted to play since I was like 3 or 4 was the guitar. Now I finally got one (two years ago) and have been teaching myself how to play. I won't take lessons because that kind of kills the fun for me. I would learn a helluva lot faster, but I'd rather treat it like a past-time rather than something I have to do.

I started playing drums when I was 8 or 9 years old (over 10 years ago) but never had any ambitions and didn't practice because I didn't think I was good until about 2 years ago when I found out that I was able to play In Too Deep. After that I practiced more and more. I recently started playing Walking Disaster, which is imho the most fun song by Sum 41 to play on drums.
Pieces is a good song for beginners, In Too Deep isn't that hard too, but has some advanced rolls/fills.

I have a Sonor Sonic Plus set, a Ludwig snare, Masterwork Troy series crash, ride and hi-hat plus one Zildjian A-Custom 17" crash.
