I like the second verse a lot, it's really awesome. The chorus was a lot different, it's almost completely new :D

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
You really really really remind me of Avril Lavigne.
I think the chorus melody was the best part. I like this version.

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
awesome as always I really, really, really do love your music.
Re: My Version of Skumfuk
I liked it as a song, but as a complete new one.
Your goal wasn't to make a 100% cover, I assume, so that's allright, I like it.
But if it was meant to be like a real real cover I wouldn't have liked it, because the vibe is totally different.
But as I said: you made your own version, which I do like a lot!

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
Thanks Sarah. I'm finally going to record some of the songs on the 13th, so I'll have higher quality versions. I don't know how many though, but I defiantly want Heroin Killed the Rock Star, Vintage 63 (Mr. Rock n Roll), Simple Difficulty, and Headcase Remedy in better quality.
@Lars, yeah I didn't really do a "cover" hence the title "My Version". I was just playing around, and liked how it came out.

the intro sounded like it could've been "look at me", but it wasn't. and wow, very well done.

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
Wow, so many Scumfuk covers these days. This one sounds completely like a ballad that should either be on the radio or just a sing-along by the camp-fire while hugging your dearest ones with a bottle of beer in your hand. The chords are completely different, but who cares since you do your job well.
Also, I am tempted to do some take of my own now since there are so many to compete with ...

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
Your voice kind of reminded me of Regina Spektor, which is cool. Not sure if you like her work or not, haha. I really like listening to covers of Sum 41 songs where people morph the song into something different rather than just replaying the recorded version on an acoustic guitar.

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
I actually liked that song Fidelity that was popular back when (awesome video). Shame the "public" lost interest in her, good singer. So I find that an awesome compliment, thanks!

Re: My Version of Skumfuk
Heather, what are you going to do to record in higher quality? Are you going somewhere or buying equipment?
