An Acoustic Guitar
I want to get an acoustic guitar, but I don't really know anything about what to look for in one and which brands are good/bad. I'm not looking for something extremely expensive or anything. Just a guitar that I can pick up and play and at the same time sounds decent enough that I can keep it around forever without having to "upgrade" to a better one.

Re: An Acoustic Guitar
Taylors sound really nice, but are expensive. I have a Fender CD60 and its sounds nice, stays in tune and was only $200. I just went to the store and bought the one that felt right. Fenders are probably going to be the least expensive, best sounding

Re: An Acoustic Guitar
I agree with Heather, I had bought myself a yamaha f310, and a friend bought a fender.... The fender was really giving the best sound, I don't believe you can go wrong with a fender !
And black is sexy for an acoustic guitar

I would go with a nice Taylor or Martin. Can't go wrong with either. Takamine acoustic guitars are great too.

Don't you have to sell your body to be able to afford a Taylor? I have a Fender and it's really good. Cost me 200 dollars or something like that.

I have a 30-year old Ibanez.. but this one is pretty expensive.
My dad used to play in a band and he used that one for acoustic performances

Re: An Acoustic Guitar
Either Yamaha, Epiphone or Takamine. They all are pretty cheap (maybe Takamine is a little more expensive), also depending on the models, but the standard ones, and sound pretty great. Especially the Epiphone, and its cheaper than the Takamine.

Re: An Acoustic Guitar
I have Yamaha fjx720SC, which is pretty decent acoustic with good mics. I think it was 600e or something like that. If I were you I'd go with Yamaha or if you want decent guitar for rest of your life, then buy martin.

a old teacher in my town made a cello, 2 violins and a viola and got professional musicians to play them at a benefit concert that he put on (for charity).Boni Boy Blue wrote:Make your own. Call it a JeremyDisaster.
