Heavy guitars..

Hello..

I'm going to buy a new guitar and I think of buying a tele.. Dont know which one yet, but that doesn't matter..

But how heavy is a tele? Is it the same as a stratocaster?

I love to play on my Strat, because it's so light.. My Les Paul is pretty heavy so I only use it when I can sit (studio, jams,..).

SG is probally the same as LP weigth? And semi-acoustic?

I can't judge a guitar by playing it for 5 minutes or less.. It's after a good half hour I know it's a guitar for me..

And in Belgium their aren't pretty good music shops.. I always order at MusicStore in Germany.. And I'm not in for a ride to Germany..

I have a friend who has a Tele, but he won't led me lent it..

SG's are pretty light. You can get a Gibson SG pretty cheap, like 700 euros or something like that. I'd go for that instead of a Tele.

I find SG's rather light as well.
New Les Pauls are very light compared to the older models.
Telecaster is about the same as a Strat I think.

Yeah LPs are pretty heavy but SGs are really really light so go for an SG if you want something light. Strats are pretty light too, dunno about Teles.
