how much does it cost to make a guitar?

that could be an idea, dunno how to wire them but if had all other parts am thinking maybe i could do it, lol

dunno why I didn't see this before now. Its awesome that you're building your own and even installing the electronics yourself..I'm with Jake. I love the '72 style headstock. The pickguard..I'm with Jer, it doesn't look bad, but I think if you can find somethimg that matches better, go for it!...should look great when you're done!

I saw a dude at Warped playing a tele with the same exact finish and he had a black pickguard on and it looked SICK. I think that's what I'll switch to.

The neck came today. Blown away. The finish is amazing and the flames in the wood are even better!

I took it into the shop today to get the tuners installed (I'm too afraid to drill into the beautiful neck to do it myself). Once the dude calls me and says it's ready, it will be time to play the beast. :2cool4u:

The guitar actually doesn't look too bad with that pickguard in the first picture! It sounds amazing!
