and yeah, i got it, for me for example, its so fuckin' hard now in school in my last years, its fuckin' annoying!
And i would really like to do music for living and all, even if i its gonna be hard as much as it is to Brown Brigade but they enjoy every second, yet, i still do my best to grduate... you always need a backup plan

yeah that's right, I know some people that is failing and if you talk with them you can't believe that they are going very bad at school. I don't know if I'm expressing myself well...
The reason Steve didn't graduate is because when he was at school, it went up to grade 13, and since they got their record deal and everything in 1999, which would've been the year Steve was to start grade 13, he wasn't able to complete high school (it's up to grade 12 now). Since his bandmates are all a year older than him, they would have completed grade 13 the year before.

Well, if Dave didn't graduate (which I still don't know if I believe, I'll hafta hear it from the horse's mouth myself in order to), I guarantee it was of his own choice.
Like, it wouldn't be because he was too dumb or anything like that. I'm sure he could have gotten the grades and such if he had wanted to. He is certainly a highly intelligent man, and high school certainly isn't THAT difficult.

Dave was in a band, and I'm sure he said/did things that weren't entirely true to further that band's image.
Honestly, I was actually just talking with the boyfriend when he came out of the shower about it because I'm fairly certain that Dave and I have talked about highschool and such...and the boy had the same thought that I had, that he had said before about that he had finished highschool *shrug*
PS - I've never said ever that Dave is perfect, and everybody lies *shrug*. I just never trust the media whole heartedly...that includes what people say and the way they say it through media outlets...

Yeah, but the way that it is, it wouldn't make any sense. Deryck, Cone, and Steve have all said they graduated. Dave saying he didn't graduate would do nothing for them. He has said it 2 or 3 times and only once out of those times was he with his bandmates and speaking with a bit of a laugh in his voice.
And I wasn't aware that Trevor knew that much about this stuff.

Trevor has been with me at all...6 shows I've been to? I can't remember for sure how many offhand right now...but yeah...he's hung out with the band as many times as I have, talks with Dave often as well...and he's Johnny's official equipment helper, and helps them load up their vehicles everytime as well...
Not saying he knows everything about it, nor am I saying I do. It just strikes me odd that, without me mentioning my thinking I had heard Dave say he had graduated before - Trevor said the same thing *shrug*

He does hate the Canadian education system - so it wouldn't entirely surprize me if he bailed because it's stupid and he wasn't learning anything. HOWEVER, I find it hard to believe that he'd be ignorant enough to think getting an education, even if it's poor, isn't the best way to go.
