DTLI? 15th Anniversary Tour

Post by TomiT14 »

Sum 41 surprised us today with an announcement for Does This Look Infected? 15th Anniversary Tour. So far all the dates are in US, but we hope the tour extends to overseas this time around.

Tickets go on sale on February 15th at 10 am local time. Check Sum41.com for tickets and details.

In other news, the band also announced they will be playing at Reading (August 25th) and Leeds (August 26th) festivals in UK. So in other words, Sum 41 will return to Europe for the Summer festivals! Let's hope they bring some DTLI tunes with them!

Amazing!!! I really hope this comes to Europe, I don't think they were able to make it over here for the 10 year DTLI anniversary but this one could be perfect.

Anyone know when we might find out?! I think DTLI is my favourite 41 record.

I'm not too fussed about this skipping Canada, seeing as I attended DTLI10. This tour ends just before Warped Tour starts up, too. I guess it's a great celebration for Dave, too!

The band will return to Europe for the Summer festivals in August. Let's hope they do some headlining DTLI shows as well!

Yeah, really hope that too! Otherwise, I might seriously go to America just for this... Why can't TNS have some undercover agent working with the band or something?! Then we could get insider information about all sorts of stuff! :devious:

I tried to make it as painless as possible. :silly:
Had to do it in order to get it to the front page.

Now that's an announcement I didn't expect. I'm feeling hopeful about a Euro leg... so they better do it.

Honestly, although I want to go every concert they would play here, I'm not so sure I'd go if they announce to come here. I like DTLI?, Hell Song is my favourite Sum 41 song, but I'd rather listen to more songs from different eras, I'd miss many if they just play from 1 record.

Well, lately they've played shows with the length of about 1h10 to 1h30, so about 17 to 25 songs. DTLI has 12 songs, so I'm positive they'll play some other songs as well.

For example, here's a setlist from a show on their DTLI10 tour (according to Setlist.fm):

1. The Hell Song
2. Over My Head (Better Off Dead)
3. My Direction
4. Still Waiting
5. A.N.I.C.
6. No Brains
7. All Messed Up
8. Mr. Amsterdam
9. Hyper-Insomnia-Para-Condrioid
10. Billy Spleen
11. Hooch
12. Motivation + 88
13. We're All To Blame
14. In Too Deep
15. Walking Disaster
16. Screaming Bloody Murder
17. Skumfuk
18. Underclass Hero
--Encore--
19. We Will Rock You
20. Sabotage
21. Fat Lip
22. Pain for Pleasure

So they gave The Hell Song a new ending.. I realy like it, with the new solo, the 'anymoooore',..
Deryck also tells a story about 'fake my own death'. seems a part of the song finds it orgin in the demos/cassette taps of DTLI.
