He could essentially be saying the role of being my dad isn't what you deserve... you deserved to have my dad right there with you... you shouldn't have had to raise me alone being the role of both parents.

(PS, yes in the song it's "Father's" not "Father is"... for this illustration though it's clearer to see it as the non-contracted version.)

the way i see "fathers no name you deserve" is that hes saying you left us and you were never around and I still dont know you to this day. Yeah your technically my father but you didnt act like one by leaving and for doing that you dont deserve the name father.

thats the way i see it since he had negative comments for his mom in the beginning too
