You gotta remember his back issue and that he has a personal life, he's probably just relaxing, taking sometime for himself. I'm sure he'll be back on eventually, you can't expect him to be 24/7.

I don't expect him to be 24/7 at all. I wonder what happened to TNS, not Deryck.

Besides from that, he's probably doing his thing. I don't mind.
What's interesting though is his optimism to this "break" or what we shall call it, from touring and overall SUM41 (I'm referring to the most recent interview with him).

I wonder what was in his mind when he wrote that.
Maybe he's up to something.

I think he'll be back soon, he needs a break. they have been touring for a LONG time and he's probably bizzy, especially with one less band member.

well it was pretty funny and I did laugh here and there, but still I think a lot of this is really mean spirited ... I think it gets a little bit insulting and there's no need for that.

Fair enough. But I think I'd be a bit sore if someone did the same to me, especially a fan. Then again being more or less in the public eye for quite some time now, Deryck is most likely already used to stuff like this.

You're right, he's certainly not.
Though that does still not change the fact how I reacted to this. I don't feel like it would matter if it was someone else. With that said I can admit that I'm not a fan of "parody" songs like these.

I agree.
The guy who made this probably just wants attention on the expense of recent bad publicity Deryck has had. Which as you said, probably is unnessecary.
But given the fact that it's just a joke, I won't judge it other than expressing that I don't like parody songs in general.
