Hmm, we might need to change the name of this thread soon:

Brown Tom was stupid anyway. It worked with Dave because he was actually brown.

Tan-Tom just rolls off the tongue much easier than Brown Tom.

"My name's Tan-Tom. I came out of my mom and I was tan. And I guess I make Tom with my guitar, so I guess that's how it kinda started."

I think UH was like a quest for a new way, for a new sound, without the influence of Dave. It was 100% Deryck, but yes, it sounds a little bit as just a demo. I hope he found that...

BTW I never was impessed by Dave, so if Dave or Tom, it doesn't matter to me... As long as Tom not sings :S That cover in Vienna was really bad.
Got a no-string guitar, got a SUNN Beta head, I'm a rock and roll star,
I ain't no musician, some things are stranger than fishin'!

The joke of that post was not using the word "sound" because it wasn't there to begin with.

Brown Tom was better, I think. It had a kind of ironic tone to it.

He's a good guy for the job, no doubt.

I was watching the HLS DVD yesterday, and for a SPLIT second I was like "who the fuck is that?" when I seen Dave.
