i saw an AKNF vinyl go for around like $40 (i THINK thats what it went for) on ebay about a week ago

im not paying that much for postage to the UK, its doesnt cost Ã‚Â£30 to post a record to the UK!

Vinyl is that old-school black plastic disc that most people's parent's listened to when they were younger. It's also one of your main weapons in the Blue Brothers videogame for Super Nintendo.

basically, vinyl is an analog recording, which means it doesn't lose any information and is one smooth recording of information. where as a CD is a digital recording, whihc means it takes snapshots of the recording at a certain bit rate, which causes it to lose very small bits of information.

a CD will sound better to the untrained ear unless your using an extremely high quality system for the vinyl and the record is pressed on to high quality vinyl.

its also fun collecting records (yes, im a geek). i mean, firstly i just think they look better than a CD. and records are usually pressed in very small numbers compared to CD's so it can be slightly harder to find an album on vinyl than CD. also, its about the thrill of finding a record you have been looking for for 6 months, finally being able to buy it and add it to the collection.

yeah fuck that dude. i paid $50 US total for the fuckin demo tape which is the rarest item, and that vinyl (which is semi-rare) is about $80 US total

yea, although i very rarely see that around, i have seen it go for less. i wouldn't having this, but not at that price!
