All Killer No Filler - 17th Anniversary!

Post by CALKing »

Congratulations to All Killer No Filler which turns 17 today!

I know this isn't a big anniversary, like 10 or 15 or 20. But at least it's a yearly anniversary worth celebrating!

On this exact date 17 years ago, the band we all listen to and love released their first full length album. Since then, All Killer No Filler has been loved by millions, topped charts, and was even featured in Rolling Stones' "50 Greatest Pop-Punk Albums" last year. May this amazing record live forever!

Cool.

Although I have to say: I really dislike when on social media they post something like 'this day 13 years ago this song was released as a single' Not even a jubilee, not even an interesting info... I prefer a "calm before storm' attitude before a new album or something.

I totally agree with you. Although I don't really see May 8 as "that day". I'd rather just call it a birthday, and birthdays are always worth celebrating!
