It's probably because there are more than one people running the page. When someone from the team likes a post made by another member of the team, it shows up as liking it themselves.

Thanks! It was a nice listen, although at times it was a bit frustrating, since the interviewer kept talking so much and didn't let Deryck to finish his story at times.

Basically there was nothing completely new, but some things were told in a greater detail than before.

So I just dug out my vinyl copy of the record and gave it a spin for the first time - the thing sounds like absolute shit. Bucketloads of distortion, crazy surface noise, both of which even supersede the music at points. Looks like I won't ever be playing this again.

Anybody else had this issue? Is it a plant issue or did my copy just get dropped and kicked along the floor?

Did anyone see this about the artwork for the album? It looked so awesome, why wasn't Deryck happy with it? I hope they stick with this guy for more of their covers and artwork. Would love to see some merch designs by him.

Too much stuff going on in that original version for me as well. Don't really like it.
Then again, I don't really like what we got in the end either - except for the actual music which is awesome.

Not a fan of either to be honest. The detail on the first one is nice, but there's too much going on and it makes me think more of Avenged Sevenfold fan art than of Sum 41. But to be fair, I haven't liked their album covers since UH. That one could've used a bit more imagination, though I liked the colors they used. SBM cover isn't good as well. That thing on the left looks like a woman with boobs and a huge boner and I don't know what I'm looking at.

I like the simple colour palette (red and black always look good together), but I just can't stand skulls. I don't get them, they're so f*king boring to me. I don't know why they can't come up with ideas that relate to the songs somehow or look at the booklet, it has nothing to do to the album conecept, neither to the cover. I guess they just don't care about these things. As long as the music is good, me neither.

Wow, quite many of you who don't like the design.
I really like both of them. The original however, like you all said, is quite busy, so the more simple design fits better, and I think this design is cool.

The skulls have ALWAYS been part of Sum 41. Starting from the early days they have been part of their alternative designs, used in merchandise (like here and here), stage banners and DVD covers.

The artwork is clearly a tribute to the early days, when everything was new and exciting for them. Now Dave back with the band and having Frank and the 5-piece represent the new start for the band, I think they did a great job to include the old stage banner design and blend it with something new. I think having another AKNF-vibe design wouldn't fit in with the concept of the songs, while the current design (skulls and a cross combined with songs about death) fits perfectly in my opinion (that's why I don't quite understand why you say the design doesn't relate to the songs, Ghost).

About the rest of the booklet, I agree that it doesn't really go hand in hand with the cover and the back, but I think the handwritten lyrics are cool (they still have some minor mistakes, though ).

Okay, I appreciate that maybe the cover represents the past, but other than Dave's back, I don't feel the necessity of this connection, I don't think the songs themselves want to reach back to the past (expect War).

Also, maybe the first three songs are about letting go and death, but in the rest of the album, I don't feel that kind of dark depression that those skulls could mean. When I listen to the album, I could imagine a different, more exciting picture, skulls are old, traditional heavy-metal symbols or something, just too boring to me.
I liked SBM's better.

So, I gave the Internet 3 months to deliver, but it failed. There's only one version floating around the web, and it has a bunch of errors. So I tried my best with these, feel free to correct me wrong. The parts I found difficult to figure out are in italics.
