I just love how aggressive it is throughout the entire song. The instrumentals and vocals complement each other brilliantly. I really like the lyrics I've been able to decode so far.

Special mention to the chorus, it has the exact kind of vibe that made me fall in love with Sum 41 in the first place.

Could you please post lyrics here? English isn't my native language so I can only understand chorus.

I like it.
Can't say I'm blown away instantly, but I like it.

I wonder: will we get it through pledgemusic?

That would make sense, I'm all calmed down now with this whole iTunes thing.

FMOD gets better with every listen, sick!

I feel a little bit mixed by the song. Overall, I like it: it's heavy, it's fast and also have a catchy, melody chorus. But I can't say it's an original Sum 41 song.
I feel a little Thanks for Nothing on the chorus and maybe a little Blood in my Eyes on other guitar parts. I can't hear every word out yet, but the main chorus' lyric is like Dark Road Out of Hell. I mean:
Spoiler: show
Take Me Away (Sick of Everyone)
'Cause I wanna feel, something that's real (Happiness Machine) :devious:
But damn, I don't wanna be look like a butthurt, I like it and I'm really excited about the album! :2cool4u:

Big, heavy, agressive, and yet catchy as hell. Sounds even darker than SBM. I fucking love it

I noticed this, it bothers me a little but I think the rest of the song is so hard and aggressive that it doesn't matter. The riff is Blood In My Eyes esque, I felt that after hearing the snippet for the first time on that update months ago but I think this song still stands on its own as original because it sounds even more aggressive than the SBM sound especially in the vocals. The whole song is just more catchy and faster than SBM.

I was thinking about that, because of the new Blink-182 album. I was never a fan of them, but their new album's light, summer feeling now really caught me, I didn't expect that.
And then I thought: do I really want another heavy, dark Sum 41 album? Shouldn't they try to bring back their funny, skate-punk, California-feeling style? I really don't know, because I like both style, but I wonder if they have something more cherish song or they are totally into heavy stuff?
It's not necessary to recall their "happier" side, but if I just look at their setlist: when they play, do we always hear the "fun" stlye from their old songs (like In Too Deep and Fat Lip) and the heavier, darker tune from their newer albums? All in all, I think it has to end with honesty: if they have lived a darker times and they want to show that in their new album, then I think it's cool. But also, I would like to hear something more cheered up song. 13 Voices seems like a dark album, but I hope this time Deryck tried to capture the joy in life (he's recovering, rising and wedding with his girldfriend).

Had a first chance to listen to it.

That was sick. It's all that Sum 41 stands for: it's heavy, aggressive, straight to the point yet very melodic and catchy.

Quite pleased with this!
Spoiler: show
EDIT: If there has to be a tiny bit of criticism: I think the instrumental bridge lacks a bit of more punch and reminds me a bit too much of The Bitter End. Not that I don't like the song, it just sounded a bit too familiar.

Only thing that confuses me is that in a previous thread it was said Goddamn I'm Dead Again would be the first single to be put out and that that one had a video already :holyshit:

I'm listening to it right now, and oh. my. God. I have the exact same feelings that I had when I first heard the intro to Reason to Believe. Like, instant chills. It almost feels wrong listening to this, but I can't wait until the official release. I can't even sum up my reaction to the song because it's everything we've been waiting for, but I will say it did exceed my expectations, far and beyond! (Nothing new with the Sums there, though.)

All I can say is this: they couldn't have picked a better single to introduce 13 Voices.! This is me right now: :suicide: I was feeling a little down, and this is the pick-me-up I needed, that's for sure.
