Is it just me or is their cover of the hit Queen song friggin amazing?! I personally think they should do a studio recording of it.

any thoughts?

It would be great if they did studio recordings of all their covers. They have becomes staples of the Sums' live acts, but it would be great to see that carried into the studio.

I really enjoyed hearing this live, but i think the energy that it brings live would be lost if they recorded it in a studio. Now, a live recorded version for a CD/DVD... that is what I'd pay money for.

It seemed to get quite good reception online, not fans included. I personally loved it, especially when D would talk through it a bit. I loved their Beastie Boys Sabotage cover equally. I'd be more than happy if they recorded those two! (Of course, they'd need to extend the BB cover.)

yeah it would be awesome .. but they mentioned that a live dvd or cd wasn't worth the money cause barely anyone buys them anymore and everybody records the music on their phones and cameras already and put it on youtube.
