songs never played live

Post by krivco »

Here is a list of songs Sums never played live on tour:

Does This Look Infected?
Billy Spleen
Reign In Pain
WWVII

Chuck
Open Your Eyes
Slipping Away (if I am not counting an outro of pieces at Junos)
I'm Not The One
Noots
Subject To Change

Underclass Hero
Pull The Curtain
Best Of Me
So Long Goodbye
Look At Me
No Apologies
This Is Goodbye
Take A Look At Yourself

Other
Always

Screaming Bloody Murder (Here are song from new album that still can be played on a show)
What Am I To Say
Jessica Kill
Time For You To Go
Crash
We're The Same

All songs from All Killer No Filler and Half Hour of Power were played live.

Which of them do you pick to see it live?
For me: Open Your Eyes, I'm Not The One, Billy Spleen, Noots, Subject To Change and Best of Me must be really amazing!
From new album I really looking forward to Crash which is expected to play live.

I check songs on youtube. I was very surprised found some of them, and Ma Paubelle is really funny=D

Hope you enjoy my topic. Thanks to TomiT14 for corrections

These songs HAVE been played live.

HHOP
32 Ways To Die
Dave's Possessed Hair (many times)
Another Time Around (many times)

DTLI
All Messed Up (many times - Seriously? Haven't you seen Sake Bombs?)

Chuck
The Bitter End

Underclass Hero
Speak Of The Devil
Dear Father
Count Your Last Blessings
The Jester

Also, if you count Ma Poubelle being played live, you should count Ride The Chariot too, since they were both played only as playbacks.

Now I found only:
Dave's Possessed Hair (really funny, lol), All Messed Up (that can't be there, big mistake, sure I saw it) I count 32 Ways To Die, Ride The Chariot too...corrected

The Bitter End, Speak Of The Devil, Dear Father, Count Your Last Blessings and The Jester are only like live session promo, not played at real show.

Nope. Bitter End was played every now and then during Chuck era. Speak Of The Devil, Count Your Last Blessings, The Jester and Dear Father were all played a couple of times in 2007 right after UH was released.

Please, the fact that YOU can't find them on Youtube DOESN'T mean they have NEVER played them live.

Believe me, I know this shit.

Well, I can't show them to you, since I have no videos of them. I've seen two videos of The Jester being played in Germany 2007, but they are not on Youtube anymore.
As MP3s, I've got Bitter End (Minnesota 2005) and Count Your Last Blessings (Washington DC, 2007).
Speak Of The Devil and Dear Father were played at least in their Australian tour in 2007, but haven't found any video or audio for those.

Bitter End
Count Your Last Blessings (extremely bad quality, makes your ears bleed)

Yeah, the MP3 for Blessings is very bad quality, but at the end you can hear the crowd screaming, and the reverb at some points, so it's clear it's a live recording.

Yes, that was a radio show in a French radio station Le Mouv in May 2007. That's the only time it's been played along with UH Live sessions.

They didn't play the whole song that many times, only a few. But they've played the middle part in every show, and sometimes they play the song at soundchecks.

I can't believe that they played Speak of the Devil and Dear Father live and not Pull the Curtain, they need to change this

Actually, Deryck told me that they played Pull The Curtain a few times. I'm not sure if he's counting the UH Live session as playing it live, but I haven't seen or heard any proof for that.

Shame, 'cause it's my favorite of UH. :sosad:

yeah it won't happen, which sucks, I would change any song from setlist for NOOTS though. It's still the best Sum 41 song imo.
