It's like Over My Head video.. I'd like to see sum 41 video with something else than footage from tour.. For example BYDWK I imagined on a desert.. With the car that's in a booklet.

Well, I'm disappointed. I mean, it's edited very nicely and all, but considering they said they shot the video in a day off in Germany with a local crew and everything.. I hoped at least we'll have some tour footage together with some footage of the band playing like in the streets of Germany or whatever.. something new ya know, not just live footage or stuff from tour updates.

This song really had a potential for a very cool video ya know, I really agree with the whole desert and car thing, could be awesome, and would really fit that summer rock'n'roll style of the song, but whatever, I guess that's all we'll be getting. Hopefully they will release a third single (BIME I guess?) from this album and we'll get a real video for that one. It's really sad to see a band like the Sums that once had 3-4 videos for an album (almost all were actual videos and not tour footage, and with storylines and stuff), now having only one video to promote the album and even that one isn't an actual video but a compilation of tour footage.

I honestly don't think they could afford to do a big desert/German streets video now that the label has all but cut them off. While I agree that I thought of the desert photoshoot with the old cars as soon as I heard the song, I guess the band just don't personally have the time or money any more. I'm hoping that when they move to a new label they'll stop being treated like shit.

I really like the direction this band is heading, and although this song is radio friendly as fuck, the most unoriginal one they've ever done, but still they don't find it important to make a good video for it ...

they just really seem to not give a fuck about the corporate stuff anymore ... at least not as much as they used to7

btw: wasn't there a thread for this shit before ? why do we have threads where we discuss a certain thing that is supposed to be released in an unannounced period of time, you know, we discuss it there for months, and when it is finally out we forget about that thread and we make a new one, useless one ..

Of course they could have try to do something a bit more original but I don't think they had the time to think and organize it, especially since they probably didn't have the time to talk about it with the crew who shot the video.

Don't say this is another tour update, the tour updates were random videos, you could see funny things, you could see the crowd... well it was just update.

Here you can see they tried to shoot it correctly and the edit is nice. In other words, it's a live/tour music video, but it's well done. We couldn't really expect something better from this video...
