I think Kurt said Teen Spirit was a rip of a Pixies song... Do you know what Pixies song he's talking about?

Nanana, bulletproof heart, planetary, the only hope for me is you, party poison, vampire money, all good songs

edit: oh and Save yourself i'll hold them back is really good as well
I felt like they lost alot of there edge on there new cd. Planetary Go sounded like Hannah Montanna song, but maybe I'm the only one who thought that. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed it :glad:
I feel the same way, for me, the first three albums were very good, unique, and with an original sound ... the last album sucks in my diary, sucks very hard ... and when I see their live shows with those fans waving red and green lights as if they were at some fucking disco show, well, I feel like throwing up ...

I would go to their live show a year ago, I really would, but now, I avoid any of their shows and I don't really mind it or question my decision
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.
"i think we're gonna be one of those bands thats around forever and even makes records, even if noones buying them and using them for toilet paper...but we'll still make them because we'll be the best fuckin toilet paper anyones ever used...." - Tom Delonge

It's not really a specific song, he pretty much just used the same dynamic (quiet verses, loud choruses) as the Pixies. Kurt's vocals sound almost identical to Frank's in "Tame"

Frank Black however mentioned in an article one time that he doesn't think Nirvana sounded like Pixies though. He said people "think they hear it" but there's not really anything specific he ripped off. He actually loved Smells Like Teen Spirit and wish he wrote it. :) The Pixies bassist's side project "The Breeders" is a band you can draw out where Kurt Ripped melodies from.

For the record, I was being sarcastic. Because I forgot to switch to sarcasm font, people could have gotten confused.
