Still Waiting, for this bass to stop playing.

Post by Jake-41 »

Okay, so.. Possible interesting find? Your call.

I was watching the infamous Still Waiting music video. Wonderful piece of film, if you haven't seen. BUT ANYWHEY..

Ya know how they all have like, makeshift instruments for the epic smashing stuff scene? Right, of course you do. But um.. Cone's bass is actually a Fender. And looks alot like the one he uses all the time.

And he does give it a few smashes. Also, has anyone noticed Steve's tom AND crash or whatever falling off his little perch? Like, i always knew it fell, but i didn't know you could actually see the whole thing slide off and stay there for like, 2 minutes. Mainly about Cones bass though.

Haven't watched that video in a long time. It was good to see it again. They probably just bought another bass that looks like Cone's and relic-ed it up a bit to make the wear and tear look similar.

I remember reading an interview where D said they smashed real guitars for the video, but I don't think Cone would have used the one he has now, like Nic said, probably a replica

I never understood why bands smash guitars. Your not the Who, stop it.
