So do I, those are two of my favourites but not replacing Fat Lip and In Too Deep in the set.

I'd raise the set with them.

I don't think they will ever take Fat Lip out

not gonna lie, had totally forgotten about that one! I like this though, it'd be cool if they put it back in. even if it wasn't in every setlist, just a couple and I'd be satisfied for that.

Some say was AMAZINGG live!!! but idk it'll work like it did back in 2005,

they're not the same band anymore...they write better songs now- but live is ehh....better than rise against live, but they're no green day when it comes to live performances

He might be saving his voice for when he plays the other songs on the album or he might just not have the voice for these songs

Luckily so. Relatively Sums are way better. If the Sums brought the explosions and other theatricals along with the extended setlist, they would be the same at its worst.
But I don't want the Sums to become like Green Day. I love how Sum 41 is an awesome live band without any special effects.

Sum 41 live is better than Green Day? Sum 41 play approximatively 1h and play the same songs over and over. Deryck are unable to sing some songs and the band is worst than ever onstage.

Wow, you're green day fan, aren't you.

But yeah, Green Day show was the most amazing one I've been on.
Along with all the Sum 41 shows. :2cool4u:

Did you even read my post?
TomiT14 wrote:If the Sums brought the explosions and other theatricals along with the extended setlist, they would be the same at its worst.
If Green Day played only one hour set, they would have quite similar setlist from show to show. But since they play 2h30min sets, there's room to play not-so-famous songs that can be switched.

Also, your arguement is invalid, I'm not sure why I even talk to you about this. Have you even been to a Sum 41 show in the past year? Deryck's voice has improved drastically (Rebel Yell, anyone?), and the onstage performance is very amusing. No more over-rehearsed stage banter, and the band plays with the crowd more than ever.

Green Day, I don't say they are bad. In fact, they are probably the best live band today. But relatively, Sums are better in my opinion. I've been to two GD concerts, almost one year apart (although both were during 21CB era), and those two shows were not only exactly the same, but were also VERY similar to Bullet In The Bible live DVD. All three of them had same crowd plays, while the two shows I went to had the exact same setlist, excluding only one (1) song.

The length or the variety of a setlist is not the only meter to determine a good live band. I saw the Sums twice in two days in Prague. The setlists were almost identical, but still the shows themselves were totally different from eachother. The atmosphere, crowd plays and stage banter were completely different.

But yeah, no need to get heated just because I critisized (note: not 'bashed') your favorite band. I was just giving an opinion with a valid point reflecting from my experience.

Then again, why am I telling you this? You don't even seem to understand anything about live shows.

In my opinion, Deryck has no charisma or talent of Billie Joe. Green Day is able to transcend his songs on stage, give them another dimension. Sum 41 is not capable.

Well, that's your opinion. I can't understand how you don't see the talent of Deryck's and Sum 41's. They are generally known to be one of the best live bands today, especially in smaller venues.
And Deryck doesn't have charisma or talent of Billie Joe's? Of course not! They are two totally different persons!

I'm not telling you to like Sum 41, but you should open your eyes and see that they really are a great live band. Maybe not better than Green Day, but nowhere near bad either.

Green Day sucks live for only one reason. They've never (or for a long time) played in my country. Sums're going for the third time. So fuck GD. :devious:

I never said that Sum 41 was bad, just that Green Day was better on stage.
I like Sum 41 but I wish they would play longer and their are more varied setlist.
I think they was better live during DTLI and Chuck era.
