Well, I remember in November I think we heard that album isn't 100% done because Deryck went to the studio to re-record a solo haha, maybe he messed up and practiced since finishing recording in July until November to get better in lead guitar haha.

It's not about how difficult it is to play, it's about how good it sounds.

I can make a really bad solo that is so difficult that I'm sure you can't play, so what? That doesn't make me a good musician :)

To be honest, I think the solo is insane. But that's just my humble opinion.

I remember listening to Skumfuk for the first time.

After the second chorus, the guitars are going up and the drums are heading for a climax and I was like "Oh, fucking awesome, here comes a fucking amazing solo!".

But than there was the piano part, which I loved as well.

Its only 2 songs, i'm sure they're will be better and more solos to come.

A solo does not have to be hard to be good, remember The Hell Song? that had the best solo in the album, and it only took me a day to learn.

This album's direction is going to me more technical in the guitar department than Underclass Hero and so far Screaming Bloody Murder's solo is more technical than any of the "solos" in the last album. I'm not saying every song should have a solo or a really complicated guitar part to be a good song or even respectable for that matter, but it's always nice when a song has a really good sounding guitar part.
