Your thoughts on Underclass Hero

I think this is a huge step for Sum 41, this album is going to take them to places they've never been before. I think its incredibly well written, and lyrically superior to all their previous albums.

Thoughts?

I haven't listened to ALL of it,but what I did listen to sounded amazing.
Underclass Hero is great to me, so those of you not downloading and waiting until the offical release I believe it was well worth the wait.
I'm just impatient which is why I downloaded. Too exciting for me not to download.

Best cd ever. I don't know why you wouldn't download it. I burned it to a cd and listened to it. It's just the same as the real one but earlier. If they all the sudden decided to move the release date to tommorow you would listen to it. So whats the point. The one i got from the torrent is exactly the same as the cd. And they are not low quality either. They are each over 200 kbps. And just because i got the leak doesn't mean i'm going to cancel my preorder. That would be crazy. With me is the best song on the whole album. I can't get it out of my head. Nic, if you won't download the album at least download With Me. It's my new favorite song. Out of all songs ever!

All the overcompression in the world won't make this album sound any better. What a huge step backwards for this band. Every song is just another generic major-key pop-punk song. Even songs that had enormous potential like Count Your Last Blessings and With Me and King of The Contradiction seem hollow and afraid to deviate from the pop-punk formula. The slow songs would have been great if they'd stayed that way, but they have awful choruses. Dave needs to return to this band ASAP. Chuck and Does This Look Infected were amazing accomplishments. This is probably their worst album. I'm severely disappointed.

Good good point. I'm downloading it cuz the Universal bastards will take months to print it here and I hate them.

Im actually kind of disappointed in this ablum. Too many slow songs for me. This is not the Sum 41 that im used to.

i couldnt fuckin help myself. i love it. im so happy. everyone will love it... So Long Goodbye makes me shiver aye honestly...the cello and all that.. fuck me!!so good. go get it now. addicted to it.

Im hating how people are saying this this so isnt Sum 41.....Sum 41 isnt a fuckin heavy band. seriously..AKNF IS Sum 41....this is as close ull get to AKNF but more grown up.ITS STILL SUM 41...Chuck IS NOT Sum 41. yes u may of liked Chuck more BUT THIS is Sum 41... This is what they are known for, this is how they wanted to be wen they started not some heavy rock band.

Well... I think you cannot say Chuck isn't Sum 41.

I think you cannot judge any of their albums and say which one of them represents their real sound or not. I think each one of them may be a stage of their natural growth as a band.

Im pretty sure Deryck has said many times that they havnt been a band since 2001 and just been like a "Machine". Meaning that it wasnt "them" ..they werent doing what they wanted. it wasnt the same (compared to AKNF era) therefore...It wasnt the Sum 41 they wanted to be.
