Remakes usually tend to be fail movies. I'm not saying they suck, but that always seems to be the trend.

Sorry to disappoint man but this isn't a remake, it's a continuation of the story.

The first clue is the plot is so much different and Jason wasn't even in the first Friday the 13th, it was his mother, he never got the hokey mask until like part 4 or something like that.

I've actually never watched any of the Friday the 13th series.

Though I believe I did see Jason X, haha.
