i think it focuses more on the "drama" between the doctors than on actual... doctoring.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. A bunch of sleazy, horny doctors that all exchange partners within their friend circles and all the drama that goes along with it.

Although this particular episode that I saw was just intense. I can't find any other word to describe it.

Lol, I've heard they tend to exaggerate some scenes. Like one minute a guy will be fine and the next his jugular vein will randomly explode and stuff like that.

This year's season finale, some guy came into the hospital and shot up the place killing doctors and nurses. But yeah, it was a pretty good way to end a season. Though, you'd probably have to watch the episode to know what I'm talking about.

House can be a little annoying sometimes.
Like Dr.House is extremely narcissist, and the kind of people at work/shool...that you just can't deal with on a daily basis, he turns normal conversations into a serious pain in the ass, not to mention that his reactions are always predictable, and he almost kills a bunch of people every week due to his bitchy attitude.
Although, it's much better than Grey's Anatomy.
